John Kole and Michele Rappaport's Heirloom ring
Legacy is not a word we hear used that much any more today. People just don't think that far ahead. John Kole is not that typical guy. This ring was his great grandmother's ring from his mother. Not only is it a great ring, but what joy the whole family experiences as the ring is passed down from each generation and more to come. Michelle was pleased. And who wouldn't be? So check out the rock surrounded by the rocks of marquises and round diamonds. A real stunner of a ring.

Okay, some people are just not into the bling of things on rings. They set their own course and style. They stand out from the crowd. Thank God for choice. Randall Leazer , fashion photographer extraordinaire for Steve Madden is one of these guys. See the nice choice he made with a 1.6 carat natural oval sapphire in a white gold setting for Mina's engagement ring. How did he do? How did she do?

John Alsdorf and Katherine Leary came to me with a brilliant ring design an unlike other wedding bands. "Poetry for the Fingers". Three clusters of grapes, with vines and leaves. Made me thirsty just sculpting them out. Which do I drink, grape juice or get a bottle of wine? Or both?
What a pleasure they were to work with. Thank you both as it turned out to quite a fun set of rings.

Referrals are the best form of advertising as they say. Thank you Phil Morgan. Frank Socarras, a friend and business associate of Phil's came to me in need of an engagement ring for Valentines day 2010. Well he scored well with this 3 stone diamond ring for her. All are D colored diamonds to boot! I will keep notes on this one for sure!
