John Alsdorf and Katherine Leary came to me with a brilliant ring design an unlike other wedding bands. "Poetry for the Fingers". Three clusters of grapes, with vines and leaves. Made me thirsty just sculpting them out. Which do I drink, grape juice or get a bottle of wine? Or both?
What a pleasure they were to work with. Thank you both as it turned out to quite a fun set of rings.

Spent the days cycling up and down the Elbe River. The big beautiful skies are like our Wyoming skies ,however the ancient towns are not. Thomas -- it was a joy to work with you and see your enthusiasm for this design concept. The inspiration for this design came from the Bible, the notion contained in Jesus' conversation with his followers where he said "I am the vine, you are the branches."
